Who we are

Based at the Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands, we are one of the most advanced student rocketry teams in the world.

Since our founding in 2001, we have accumulated over 21 years of experience in high-powered rocketry.

What we do

Our goals are to provide students with unique hands-on experiences and reach space with a fully student-built rocket.

We conduct research and development in many multidisciplinary rocketry fields. Often these new technologies end up taking part in our flagship launcher Stratos.

Dream

Launching rockets is hard, but that’s why we choose to do it. We want to show the world that a student team can also reach for the stars.

DESIGN

Started in September 2022, the Stratos V rocket is now in its preliminary design phase.

Engine

For our rocket, we will use the reusable engine 'Firebolt' developed by Project Sparrow. It generates a thrust up to 10 kN and has a chamber pressure of 30 bar. So far, it has undergone 11 hot-fire tests.

Launch

The Launch of Stratos V is planned to take place in 2025.
