Air Liquide sponsors DARE with the Nitrous Oxide required for testing and launch of the Stratos IV rocket. ArianeGroup is one of the leaders in the European rocket industry as the primary contractor for the manufacturing of Europe's Ariane V launch vehicle. ArianeGroup also provides commercial launch services through its subsidiary Arianespace and is the principal contractor for the development of Europe's new Ariane 6 rocket. It is therefore no surprise that ArianeGroup supports project Stratos, one of the leading student rocket projects in Europe.

APP develops and manufactures ignition systems for space launchers. Those launchers are invaluable, both for science as well as for our daily lives. Navigation, weather forecasts, telecom and disaster control can hardly be done without satellites. Rockets bring satellites to their destination: in orbit around the earth. APP supports project Stratos and DARE with valuable knowledge on propulsion systems.

Dassault Systèmes provides the project Stratos team with the latest CATIA on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. Furthermore, Abaqus is used to do Finite Element Analyses (FEA) on the most critical parts of the rocket.

StuD is a temporary employment agency led by and created for students from the TU Delft. Besides connecting students to jobs, they also fund innovative, entrepreneurial projects by local students. StuD has helped Stratos IV to make the launch campaign possible thanks to their financial support.

TNO is a major player in a growing international network comprised of leading scientific institutes, companies with ambitious development profiles, universities and other partners in knowledge. The knowledge TNO develops, integrates, will make applicable and puts into practice will only have value if we can use it to have a real social and economic impact. The Stratos III 'Nimbus' engine was tested at TNO facilities in Rijswijk.

NXP is a market leader in the field of development and production of semiconductor devices, such as sensors, amplifier chips but also microcontrollers. Stratos electronics, such as the flight computer and engine control unit, are all based on multiple NXP microcontrollers. These microcontrollers make the rocket fully autonomous. Due to the support of NXP, we can make Project Stratos a success.

3D Systems provides the most advanced and comprehensive 3D digital design and fabrication solutions available today, including 3D printers, print materials and on-demand custom parts. 3D Systems has capabilities to print plastics, metals, ceramics, and edibles. For Stratos IV their Customer Innovation Center helped the team with consulting and printing the lightweight titanium nozzle, saving almost 50% weight!

Oerlikon Metco is a market leader in advanced materials, thick-layer surface technologies and turbine component solutions with a global presence and firmly anchored position in the aerospace, power generation, automotive and industrial markets. For the Stratos IV project Oerlikon Metco supplied the materials for the additively manufactured nozzles, provided technical consulting about thermal barrier coatings and applied these coatings to the additively manufactured rocket nozzles.

With over 50 years of experience MT Aerospace is a well-respected international aerospace company, providing critical parts to Europe's launcher and satellite industry. For example, MT Aerospace provides many critical components for Europe's Ariane 5 launcher such as the tank domes and the booster casings.

Teijin Aramid is the global leader in Aramid technology. Their materials - Twaron and Technora - are used in the drogue parachutes of Stratos and Aether. The Aramids have the advantage of high ultimate strength and thermal stability which is needed at the high velocities.

AkzoNobel has been a leading supplier of paints and coatings for over two centuries. This year, we are proud to announce that AkzoNobel will supply the paint, stickering and application of the Stratos IV rocket. The aviation coatings department will make sure Stratos IV will look the best as possible.
