Unfortunately, during the third (and final) launch day, the electronics functioned nominally but the main engine valve actuator was frozen in place due to a nitrous oxide leak. This in turn caused an engine misfire resulting in an aborted launch.

At DARE we would like to thank everybody for the kind words and support that we have received throughout this launch campaign, both from enthusiasts and our fantastic sponsors. We are incredible happy to have had so many people join us for the livestream and we are sorry for the disappointment after all the suspense and wait.

Unfortunately, this was the last day that the launch area was closed off for both air and sea traffic. We are currently assessing options for another launch campaign in the near future. We hope to return to you after we have evaluated future launch options.
