Delft Aerospace Rocket Engineering with e-mail address info@dare.tudelft.nl hereafter referred to as the Data Controller, declares the following:

Processing controller adheres to the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG) and handles its customer data confidentially. Personal data of customers and visitors to our websites are treated and protected with the greatest possible care. 

Purposes of the use of your personal data

You can leave personal data on the websites of the Controller, by e-mail or telephone for the following reasons:

  • You log in to one of our customer portals

  • You leave a contact request with us

  • You sign up for our newsletter

  • You order a product or service from us

We use this information for:

  • Handling your payment

  • Processing your order

  • To be able to call or e-mail you if this is necessary to be able to perform our services

  • Inform you about changes to our services and products

  • Deliver goods and services to you

The controller does not use the information you provide for purposes other than those for which you entered this information yourself. If you sign up for the newsletter, your data will be entered in our relationship database, which means that you can also receive mail from us other than just news items, for example an invitation to an event that we organize.

Nature of the personal data

The data that we store about you are contact details: 

name, (e-mail) address, telephone number and the organization with which you work. We explicitly do not collect sensitive data such as about your health, criminal history or country of birth.

Automated decision making

The controller does not make decisions on the basis of automated processing about matters that can have (significant) consequences for people. This concerns decisions that are made by computer programs or systems, without a human being (for example, an employee of the controller).

Provision of personal data to third parties

The controller will share your personal data with various third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the agreement and to comply with a possible legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we conclude a Processor Agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Processing controller remains responsible for these processes. In addition, Processing Controller provides your personal data to other third parties. We only do this with your explicit permission.

How long we keep personal data

The controller does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories) of personal data:

Contacts: 3 years after last contact

Financial customer data: 7 years after last delivery, required for legal retention period for fiscal data.

View and change

You may always ask the Processing Officer to inspect the data stored on you. You can also have this data changed or deleted. Send an e-mail for this to the above-mentioned e-mail address

Cookies

Our website uses JavaScripts and cookies to a limited extent; Cookies are small text files with information about, for example, your surfing behavior. By using cookies we can measure how our site is used and how it can be further improved. We use Google Analytics for this. In addition, we use cookies that are necessary for the proper functioning of the website, for example at the customer log-in portal. 

Permission

Processing controller only uses cookies on its websites if you have given your consent. In addition, it is possible to set your browser in such a way that you no longer receive any cookies.

Our internet pages contain links to other websites in certain places. The controller is not responsible for the privacy and cookie policy that applies to the websites of third parties.

Complaints

Do you have a complaint about how we have dealt with your data? Then we ask you to discuss this with us in the first instance. Are you still unsatisfied? Then you can contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority via https://autoriteit personal data.nl/nl/contact-met-de-autoriteit-persongegevens/tip-ons. They can then decide to initiate an investigation into the Controller.

The information on this website is provided without obligation. Delft Aerospace Rocket Engineering assumes no liability for any errors on content included on this website.
